Situated close to the Devon, Dorset and Somerset borders, Hectors House Cottage provides the perfect base from which to explore the three counties. Devon with it's rolling hills, beaches and moorlands. Dorset for it's renowned world heritage jurassic coastline and Somerset, famous for it's picturesque villages and bustling market towns.
There is so much to see and do, including sailing, course fishing, golf, fossil hunting, hill walking, tram rides, quad biking and a modern swimming pool and sports complex, nearby. Other local attractions including The Donkey Sanctuary, Forde Abbey, Bicton Gardens and the South West Coast Path are all within easy reach.
The Seaton Tramway can be boarded at Colyford (1.5 miles) for trips into Colyton and the seaside at Seaton. The tram runs down the River Axe estuary, where many species of birdlife can be found.
There are numerous places to eat starting with three - the world famous River Cottage Canteen, Mark Hix Oyster and Fish House in Lyme Regis and the renowned Darts Farm Fish and Chips.
You will be spoilt for choice for local pubs and take-aways - not forgetting the Spillers Farm Devon Cream Tea.
Musbury is located between Axminster and Seaton on the Axe estuary.
